Speaking to journalists on his impression about the event, Hon Omo-Ojo said “besides being a world-class event, it is gratifying to know that Globacom is bringing this to our people free of charge.”

Similarly, Prince Patrick Oronsaye, a retired curator and authority on Bini Tradition and Custom, expressed delight at the show. He said that Globacom had demonstrated its love for the Bini people and by extension, the entire people of Edo State, by always including the city in its entertainment plans.

“By my recollection, this will be about the sixth show that Globacom has brought to Benin City free of charge in the last couple of years. I was part of the last two Rock N Rule shows , the previous editions of the Glo Laffta Fest and now the Glo Slide and Bounce concert. What this shows is that Globacom loves the Binis and the entire people of Edo State, and we can only reciprocate this good gestures by making Glo our number one network”, he said.
