The finalists will be revealed during the telecast of the show on Africa Magic, AIT, and MTV Base. Africa Magic Urban (Channel 153 on DSTV) airs the show on Saturdays from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., while AIT broadcasts it every Sunday from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. The programme also runs on MTV Base on Wednesdays from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The breakdown of the thirty finalists shows that eight dancers were selected from Abuja, five from Ghana, six from Benin, five from Port Harcourt and six from Lagos.
The eight dancers selected from the Abuja auditions are Biodun Ibrahim (27), Omoregie Amenze Blessing (17), Samson Atuonwu (27), Yemi Osokoya (24), Kelvin Ayanruoh (24), Olokor Godric (23), Miracle Nelson (21), and Mariam Ahmed (29). From Ghana are five dancers, Dibebe Lea (24), Julius Fakta (23), Samuel Mensah (22), Nartey Mannaseh (26) and Jonathan Tetteh (27).
The five dancers from the Benin auditions are Michael Ogah Adaikwu (20), Uzodinma Callistus Chibueze (22), Amechina David (22), Ambrose Idemudia (25), Paulette Iwenjiora (24) and Ajayi Olusegun (22), while the five Port Harcourt contestants in the finals are Njoku Cynthia Nneka (25), Blankson Ugele (30), Opus Theo James (18), Love-Divine Ike (18) and Etsito Toju (25).
Lagos has six dancers in the finals. Those who made it are Idundun Gloria (26), Tolu Okelowo (22), Nda-Kato-Messiah (24), Enoch Ernest (22), Eromose Ordai (20) and Malachi Osita (26).
The finalists who will go into the Dance with Peter Academy will be mentored by the three judges each of whom has 10 dancers in his or her team. The judges are Peter Okoye of PSquare, Kafayat Shafau Ameh, popularly known as Kaffy, and dance instructor and choreographer, Don Flexx.
