After achieving major feats including the partnership with 2Baba and his visit to the brand’s country home in Milan, Italy, Nigeria’s number one premium spirit, Campari is set to host the biggest music, comedy and cocktail festival ever to hold in Nigeria this November.
The Dare To Mix festival which will take place on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at the Ikeja City mall will feature major attractions like comedy, a mixology session with 2Baba making his signature mix, “Implication Shakerato”, a DJ face off and will climax with a concert headlined by Campari ambassador, 2Baba.
A first of its kind in Nigeria, the Campari Cocktail Festival will see a plethora of cocktails from Campari’s long list of innovative mixes. The festival will also have an exclusive premiere of 2Baba’s new video for his hit track, “I hate what you do to me” as well as major performances from top superstars like 2Baba, 9ice, YCee, DJ Jimmy Jatt and others.
Speaking about the festival, Brian Munro’s General Manager, marketing Abayomi Ajao commented, “We are so excited to be holding the first ever cocktail festival in Nigeria. Just like our Dare To Mix promo presently running, this is one of many ways we reward consumers for their loyalty as well as bringing our ambassador, 2Baba closer to lovers of his music and introducing them to Campari cocktails.”
He continued, “The essence of the festival is not only to educate consumers on the different exciting cocktails that can be made using Campari. We also want to celebrate the diversity in music, comedy and cocktails using our Dare To Mix campaign.”
