Perception management specialist, Chineze Amanfo has returned to the fold of 9Mobile Nigeria as Lead, Public Relations, having left the telecommunications company some three years back where she occupied the Public Relations Manager’s position.
In her new position, she will be leading a high performing team responsible for the implementation of external communications policies/procedures as well as building, managing and protecting the corporate reputation of the 9M0bile business, among others functions.
While she was at the telco company known as Etisalat before its name change, she was responsible for establishing thought-leadership for the management team at Etisalat in the areas of Corporate & Social Responsibility, innovation, Quality of Service and Customer centricity as well as strategy development and communications planning for Etisalat’s marketing, Regulatory/Government and CSR/Community Relations initiatives. She was also responsible for the formation and leadership of Etisalat’s Corporate Identity campaign which involves re-positioning the reputation of the brand in the minds of different stakeholder groups, and an internal cultural movement across multiple departments in the business.
After leaving Etisalat, she had brief stints at Reputation Solutions Providers Limited as a Consultant, Inlaks Nigeria as Manager, Brand & Communications Manager and Rendeavour, as Marketing & Communications Manager.
Amanfo who has come to be known in the perception industry as a conscientious and creative corporate communications professional, has extensive experience spanning over 12 years, commencing with a career at foremost PR agency, C&F Porter Novelli. The alumna of the University of Calabar’s experience cuts across proactive and reactive corporate and product communications as well as crisis management.
