Anietie Udoh Honoured for Leadership Impact at 2025/2026 Industry Awards in Lagos

Anietie Udoh, Divisional Director of Marketing at Marketing Edge Magazine, has been named winner of the 2025/2026 Industry Purpose-Driven Marketing Leader Award at The Industry Award ceremony held in Lagos on April 17, 2026.

The award, one of the highest individual honours in The Industry Award series organised by The Industry Newspaper, recognises professionals who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and impact in advancing the marketing and communications sector.

According to the organisers, Udoh was selected for his contributions to industry development, particularly his role in expanding the influence of Marketing Edge Magazine into a multimedia platform that supports talent development and connects Nigerian marketing professionals to global opportunities.

The organisers also highlighted Udoh’s efforts in building international partnerships with leading global award bodies such as Cannes Lions and the New York Festivals International Advertising Awards, initiatives credited with strengthening Nigeria’s visibility in global creative and advertising spaces.

Under his leadership, Marketing Edge has evolved beyond a trade publication into a platform that promotes industry learning, mentorship, and cross-border engagement for marketing professionals.

Udoh has also held several international roles, including serving as Nigeria’s Digital PR Ambassador and as a member of the global jury panel for the 9th Native Advertising Awards in Copenhagen, Denmark. He has represented Nigeria on multiple global stages, where he has spoken on creativity, innovation, and ethics in marketing practice.

Industry stakeholders say the award reflects Udoh’s growing influence within Nigeria’s marketing ecosystem and recognises his sustained contribution to professional development and industry advancement.

The Industry Award series continues to honour individuals and organisations shaping the future of marketing, advertising, and communications across Nigeria and beyond.
