AMVCAs 7th Edition: Here’s How to Vote for your Favorite Nominee

Lovers of Nollywood and African movies have three more weeks to vote for their favourite actors nominated in the 7th Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) before the award ceremony in March.

Voting for the AMVCA opened on the midnight of Thursday, February 6, following the announcement of nominees.

Fans have the opportunity to vote for their favourite nominees in seven categories which are: Best Actor in a Comedy (Movie/TV Series), Best Actor in a Drama (Movie/TV Series), Best Actress in a Comedy (Movie/TV Series), Best Actress in a Drama (Movie/TV Series), Best Supporting Actor (Movie/TV Series), Best Supporting Actress (Movie/TV Series) and Best Short Film or Online Video.

Ramsey Nouah (Living in Bondage and Merry Men 1) , Nkem Owoh (God Calling), Sola Sobowale (King of Boys), Toyin Abraham (Kasanova and Bling Lagosians), Richard Mofe-Damijo (Seven), Funke Akindele (Moms At War) and rapper Reminisce (King of Boys) are some of the many big screen stars who are eligible for honours in these categories.

How To Register on the AMVCA website:

• You can register to vote on the Africa Magic website– africamagic.tv/amvca
• Click on the Vote menu item.
• Click on Register and enter your name, surname, cell phone number in the international format e.g. +234731234567, email address, select your location, enter your year of birth, gender and your preferred password, and select the checkbox to accept the Multichoice terms and conditions, then click “continue”
• You will receive an OTP (One Time Pin) via SMS.
• Enter your OTP
• Once registered, you will be able to vote after the nomination show

• Website votes are free.
• Data costs apply.

Voting on the AMVCA website if you’re a registered voter:

• You may vote for your favourite nominee(s) via the Africa Magic website– africamagic.tv/vote
• Click on the Vote menu item.
• Click on Sign in and enter your cell phone number in the international format e.g. +234731234567.
• Enter your chosen password
• Select your favourite nominee(s) in the various categories.
• Enter your number of votes and cast your vote by clicking VOTE.
• Votes on the website are limited to 100 votes per user.

• Data costs apply.

• You can register to vote on the Africa Magic website– africamagic.tv/vote
• Click on the Vote menu item.
• Click on Register and enter your name, surname, cell phone number in the international format e.g. +27731234567, email address, select your location, enter your year of birth, gender and your preferred password, and select the checkbox to accept the Multichoice termas and conditions, then click “continue”
