In brand advertising, a brand advocate is a person, or customer who talks favourably about a brand or product, and then passes on positive word-of-mouth (WOM) messages about the brand to other people. Brand advocates strongly believe in the product they are helping advertise through electronic word-of-mouth marketing (WOMM).  They are carefully chosen by brands in the hope that they will boost sales to a given product.

Brand advocates may be in positions of power where they have plenty of influence over others.

Tiwa Savage, Mavin First Lady has been unveiled as the new advocate for number one diaper brand in Nigeria, Pampers. The announcement was made today, January 11 at Sheraton Towers in Lagos. Her husband, Tee Billz and their son Jamil were also at the event.

Pampers Nigeria gets a thumbs up from Tiwa Savage and a thumbs up from Baby Jamil as both was announced as ambassadors yesterday at Sheraton Towers and Hotels.

For a week now, the singer has been sharing teasers on Instagram to excite fans on what to expect.

At the unveiling, Tiwa Savage encourages mothers not to only use the brand, but share their experience.
