Maltina Reaffirms Leading Position With “Complete Happiness” At A.Y Live Comedy Concert In Port Harcourt.

Following its pattern of successful entertainment platforms, Nigeria’s preferred malt drink, Maltina made a big statement about happiness and laughter with the 2015 edition of A.Y Live. In conjunction with the overall brand platform “Sharing Happiness” campaign, the comedy concert series has brought amusement and music from the country’s top performers to Lagos and Abuja, and now the Garden city of Port Harcourt experienced the same thing last night at the Aztech Arcum, Stadium Road, Port Harcourt.

Beginning on April 5 in Lagos with the sold-out Easter Special before moving on to Abuja on June 21, the 2015 edition of A.Y Live has proved to be of particular interest to Maltina as it has reaffirmed its position as Nigeria’s beverage of sharing happiness, warmth and love. The family nature of the show goes hand-in-hand with Maltina’s firm belief that the experience of shared laughter is an important bonding experience for friends and family loved ones.

It will be recalled that in addition to AY Live, Maltina has created and partnered with several platforms to bring shared happiness to families and groups of friends. Some of these platforms include Maltina Dance All, Stand Up Nigeria, Laff Mattaz, Lagos Carnival and the world famous Argungu Fishing Festival in the North, Ojude Oba festival in South West and Calabar carnival in South South.

While speaking at the Port Harcourt leg of the show, Ayo Makun revealed that Port Harcourt experienced surprise of the same magnitude as experienced in Lagos and Abuja. In his words, “A couple of skits from the shows in Lagos and Abuja have now gone viral, bringing joy and laughter to millions of people not only in Nigeria but around the world.

I’m glad Port Harcourt has experienced its own surprise just as Lagos and Abuja did. The entire point of what I do is to make people smile and laugh with their friends and family and so it makes me very happy to take this platform to different locations and see people enjoying themselves as much as they do.

The Port Harcourt edition of A.Y Live featured popular comedians like I Go Dye, Gordons, Helen Paul, Akpororo, Ushbebe, Funny Bone, Acappella, Dan the Humorous, Romeo and others. There were also blockbuster musical performances from some of Nigeria’s biggest artistes including Iyanya, Kiss Daniel and others.
