Awards Set to Return for 7th Edition with Strengthened Jury Process and Expanded Categories
Now in its 7th edition, the Lord’s Achievers Awards has taken a significant step forward by introducing a formal jury session, underscoring its commitment to a credible, transparent, and evolving selection process.
The Lord’s Achievers Award (LAA) is an annual celebration of young achievers, leaders, innovators, and changemakers whose work embodies excellence, leadership, and societal impact. Born from a vision to spotlight individuals whose accomplishments transcend personal success to drive socio-economic progress, the LAA has, over the past six editions, honoured more than 60 outstanding achievers across business, technology, arts, social impact, and more.
This year’s jury includes Stephanie Busari, Senior Editor, Africa, CNN; Chuka Obi, Director of Creativity & Innovations, Globacom; Titilope Adesanya, Director of Operations, Africa, EMPIRE; Wole Odetayo, CEO, Southwest Innovation & Tech Co. Ltd; Femi Taiwo, Managing Partner, F.I.T Africa; Ladun Awobokun, Chief Content Officer, FilmOne Limited; and Chinyere Inya, Partner, Accelerate Africa & Future Africa. Representing the brand on the jury are Oluwagbemileke Lawal, Marketing Manager, Nigeria Distilleries Limited, and Olusegun Akinyemiju, Senior Brand Manager, Lord’s London Dry Gin, alongside Oluwaseun Olaniyan, Partner and Head of Brands and Communities at The Influence Agency, the Awards’ strategic engagement partner.
